Financial Peace University - Week 6

Another great FPU lesson.

I wasn't sure how relevant this lesson would be to us because, well, we don't really buy things. Boy was I surprised. He talked about everything from major purchases to product placement in the grocery store.

I knew about how hard companies fight to get the good spot at grocery stores because the husband of a friend of mine is a grocery store manager. The amount of loot they get from companies is unbelievable. (Concert tickets, game systems, trips, a deck built onto the back of their house...) It was pretty eye opening to hear about the tactics sales men will use, though. I mean, you know you are being sold to, but to hear about how and why they do it is another thing.
